On Sunday, April 13, the Rimi Estonian City Run series kicked off with the Valga Valka City Run, where both a participation record and course records for the 5 km and 10 km distances were broken.

Valga Valka City Run Traffic Information 2025

The Valga Valka City Run weekend will kick off with the Family Day on April 12th at Valga Central Square.

On April 2nd at 18:00, a preparatory group training session will take place as part of the Valga Valka City Run! The session is open to everyone and will be led by former and current city and municipal leaders of Valga and Valka. The training will start at the Valga Sports Hall.

The Valga Valka City Run, which debuted last year, is now part of the Rimi Eesti Linnajooksud series and will open the season on April 13.

The course maps for the Valga Valka City Run, taking place on April 13, are now available!

The Triathlon Academy kicks off the competition season on April 13 at the Valga Valka City Run! To ensure that both running and triathlon events go as planned, we are looking for active and enthusiastic volunteers to join our team!

On January 1st, joint registration opened for the RIMI Estonian City Run series, which this year proudly includes the Valga Valka City Run. Both the 5 km and 10 km distances will count towards the series standings. 

With the end of the year, participation fees for the 10km & 5km distances will increase. Sign up now to start the new year with a clear goal!

The registration for the Valga Valka City Run 2025, organized by NGO Triatloniakadeemia, opened on December 1. This year's event will take place on April 13.

On Sunday, April 21, the Valga Valka City Run took place, organized for the first time this year by the NGO Triatloniakadeemia. Elite runners from both Estonia and Latvia participated.

On Saturday, April 20th, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, a sporty and lively family day will take place at the Valga central square, serving as the opening event for the Valga Valka City Run.
