A local company, Valga Puu OÜ, has become the title sponsor of the children’s races at the unique Valga Valka City Run event in Estonia.
“As a company from Valgamaa, we consider it important to contribute to our community and to events that bring children outdoors and encourage them to be active. As the title sponsor of the Valga Valka City Run children’s races, we can make a real contribution to motivating young people to take up sports from an early age,” said Andres Olesk, founder of Valga Puu OÜ.
“Valga Valka City Run is a joint initiative of Valga and Valka, and for us it is significant that local businesses are contributing to the success of the event. It is exactly this kind of local partnership that allows us to offer children a memorable and high-quality sports experience right in their home area,” explained Margus Lepik, board member of the Triatloniakadeemia.
The Valga Valka City Run weekend begins on April 25 with a family day and the Jüriöö relay races. On Sunday, April 26, the Valga Puu children’s races (350 m and 1 km) will take place, along with the main distances of 5 km and 10 km.
