Valga Valka City Run Traffic Information 2025

Traffic restrictions in Valga:

• Traffic will be closed on April 13, 2025, from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM on Riia Street and both directions of Kesk Street.

• Traffic will be closed and parking prohibited on Metsa, Rahu, Julius Kuperjanov (section between Rahu and Ernst Enno Street), and Ernst Enno (section between Julius Kuperjanov Street and the pedestrian path along the Pedeli River) streets from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM.

• Vehicle exit from Jõe and Pedeli Streets will be closed from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Local residents are advised to park their vehicles outside the running route if they need to travel during this time.

• Traffic will be closed on Raja Street between Keskväljak and Riia Street from 10:15 AM to 12:00 PM.

• Traffic will be regulated at crossing points where the route intersects with Raja Street, Tartu Street, and Pärna Avenue between 12:45 PM and 3:00 PM. Vehicles will be allowed to pass based on the judgment of traffic controllers when possible. Longer waiting times may occur, and it is recommended to use Pikk Street to cross the Pedeli River.

• Parking is prohibited on April 13, 2025, on Kesk Street, Riia Street, and in the parking areas of Valga Jaani Church.

• Public transport will be rerouted and will not stop at the following stops: Konnaoja, Music School, Town Hall (Raekoja), White House (Valge maja), Valga Suurekõrtsi/Ernst Enno, and Allika.

Local residents, emergency vehicles, and service transport will be allowed through at the first opportunity under the guidance of traffic controllers. Roads will be reopened immediately after the end of the race and the removal of traffic control equipment.
 

Traffic restrictions in Valka:

• Traffic will be closed on April 13, 2025, from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM on Raiņa, Poruka, Rīgas, Emīla Dārziņa, Ausekļa, Smilšu, and Sēlijas streets.

• Parking is prohibited on April 13, 2025, along the running route on Raiņa, Rīgas, Emīla Dārziņa, Ausekļa, Smilšu, Sēlijas, and Poruka streets.

• Public transport will be rerouted and will not stop at the following stops: Prokuratūra, SEB banka, and Kultūras nams.
